Delhi to Manali — Overnight Journey
Assemble in Delhi. Briefing on the trip, safety protocols, and bike orientation. Board the overnight journey to Manali through the scenic Himalayan foothills. Watch the landscape transform from plains to mountains.

Arrive Manali — Rest and Acclimatization
Arrive in Manali. Check into hotel. Today is a leisure day for rest and acclimatization to the altitude. Take a gentle walk through Old Manali, visit the Hadimba Devi Temple, and explore the local markets. Attend an evening briefing on the road conditions ahead.

Manali to Jispa — Rohtang and Baralacha La
The adventure begins! Ride through the iconic Rohtang Pass (13,054 ft), through Keylong — the district headquarters of Lahaul — and continue to Jispa. The Baralacha La pass offers breathtaking views of glaciers and mountain lakes. Jispa is a serene riverside camp.

Jispa to Purne — Shinku La Pass
Cross the Shinku La Pass (16,580 ft) — one of the most challenging passes on this route. Ride through Darcha and onwards to Purne in the Zanskar Valley. The landscape here is otherworldly — stark, dramatic and utterly beautiful.

Purne to Padum — Heart of Zanskar
Ride into Padum, the main town of the Zanskar Valley. The road follows the Zanskar River through dramatic gorges and past ancient villages unchanged for centuries. Visit the Zangla Fort and enjoy the spectacular mountain scenery.

Padum — Local Exploration Day
Rest day in Padum. Explore the ancient Karsha Monastery — the largest and wealthiest monastery in Zanskar. Visit Stongdey Monastery perched dramatically on a hillside. Take a gentle walk along the Zanskar River.

Padum to Leh — The Epic Zanskar Highway
The longest riding day of the trip. Leave Padum early and ride the spectacular Zanskar Highway to Leh. Pass through Nimmu where the Zanskar River meets the Indus River — a breathtaking confluence. Arrive in Leh by evening. Check into hotel.

Leh to Hanle — World's Highest Observatory
Ride from Leh to Hanle via Chumathang hot springs. Hanle is home to the Indian Astronomical Observatory — one of the world's highest observatories at 14,764 ft. The night sky here is among the clearest in the world. Stargaze at the Hanle Dark Sky Reserve.

Hanle to Umling La to Hanle — World's Highest Road
The crown jewel of the trip. Ride to Umling La Pass at 19,300 ft — the world's highest motorable road, higher than the base camp of Mount Everest. Collect your achievement certificate. The views are incomprehensible. Return to Hanle camp.

Hanle to Tso Moriri — Sacred Mountain Lake
Ride to Tso Moriri — one of the most beautiful high-altitude lakes in Ladakh at 15,075 ft. The lake is a Ramsar wetland site, home to the rare Bar-headed Goose and Tibetan Wild Ass. Camp by the lakeside for a magical evening.

Tso Moriri to Sarchu — Crossing the Plains
Ride from Tso Moriri through the high-altitude Rupshu plains, past Tso Kar lake, over the Tanglang La Pass (17,480 ft) and down to Sarchu. The landscape here feels like the moon — vast, silent and humbling.

Sarchu to Manali — Journey's End
The final ride home. Cross Baralacha La and Rohtang Pass one last time, arriving in Manali with memories that will last a lifetime. Farewell dinner and celebration. The bikes go back, but the spirit of Ladakh stays with you forever.
